At the Edinburgh Fairtrade Fortnight event March 2018, Bernard Kaunda announced that Fair Trade Scotland would be importing Mzuzu Coffee – with beans roasted and packaged in Malawi.
We have now launched our crowd fund to raise the working capital we need to scale up the import of the finished coffee for wider distribution.
“Our partner will bring a lot of benefits to our farmers as value addition is done right here in Mzuzu, Malawi, and we will export to Scotland, Fairtrade Mzuzu Roast and Ground Coffee”
